Fat dissolve is the treatment to remove pockets of unwanted fat.  The human body naturally stores fat in order to supply energy however, subcutaneous fat cells are often located and stored in areas to an extent many people wish to reduce and they are difficult to diminish. Here at Juventa, we deliver injections of a very effect product named Aqualyx, to dissolve these difficult to remove subcutaneous fat cells.  The active substance in Aqualyx, locks into the cell wall making it unstable and releasing the fatty acid that is stored within. Cell residue is removed and broken down by the body’s defences and the released fatty acids are converted to energy.

Aqualysis or Aquaplasty consists of depositing the solution into localised areas of fat such as saddle bags, thighs, stomachs, chins and knees. It can also be used to treat pseudo- gynecomastia in men. Aqualyx liquefies the fat cell, destroying it permanently, releasing the lipids that are then eliminated naturally through the lymphatic system.

Typically, four to five treatments or more can be required for each area being treated.  The treatment will be repeated, depending on the number of small pockets of fat tissue to be reduced. Treatments are carried out in intervals of four weeks. After each treatment, patients can expect some bruising, swelling, redness, tenderness and possible skin irritation in the area treated however, patients report good tolerance of the treatment and such side effects subside over two to four days, with any swelling and bruising over seven to fourteen days.
