Frequently asked questions

Botox® is a brand name for botulinum toxin.  Although Botox® is the most well-known brand, there are other brands of botulinum toxin which are equally as effective. Here at Juventa, our favourite brand is Azzalure, it is considered to not stimulate as greater immune response, diffuses across a greater area and some believe lasts longer. 

When should I see the results?

It can take approximately 10 – 14 days before results are seen, however this can vary with each treatment and individual.  

How long will the results last?

Results can be seen for 3-5 months, sometimes longer however, this is again dependant on the individual.  

Post treatment support?

You are invited to attend a treatment review, approximately 14 days post procedure, to assess the progress of the treatment and ensure the best results from the injections.  This review is free of charge.   

Are anti-wrinkle injections right for me?

Although anti-wrinkle injections are suitable for many clients, all individuals are different and this will be discussed in your consultation.  If for any reason, it is considered that these injections are not right for you, alternative treatments will be discussed and recommended.   

Are there any risks with anti-wrinkle injections?

This is dependent on the individual, all clients complete a medical and consent form prior to any treatment.  Your consultation will also give discussion and consideration to your suitability for the treatment.  Clients must disclose all current medication and ailments to ensure risks are limited / prevented.
